Women's Old Faithful Sweater

I love this sweater from Mountain Khakis! I'm 5'6, 123 lbs and got a Medium in eggplant. The sweater fits me well in the shoulders and body. The sleeve length is just right, covering enough of the wrist to keep me warm but not too long that it's in the way when I use my hands.

I was not sure what to expect for color, I'd never owned anything eggplant before. So happy I took the chance! It's heather eggplant actually, the color works great with tan, stone, cigar even basalt. 

As usual, the quality is great and the details - again - are what get me. The cuffs have a couple of tastefully engraved metal snap buttons and the full front zipper is made of heavy duty metal. The side pocket seams are reinforced and the pocket interiors are lined with ultra soft micro fleece. I really appreciate to be able to zip up my side pockets when I carry keys.

I am reaching for this sweater every time the weather lets me, either as a jacket on top of a tee or over a merino wool top when it's chilly. I haven't noticed any pilling of the fabric except for the side pockets, which doesn't show because of the heather color.
