Sigma 15mm Fisheye Lens

The primary lens I use for shooting miniatures is the Sigma - 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye. Of all the fisheye lenses on the market, it's the only one I know of with such a short focal length (which is essential to my technique for photographing the miniatures)! The Nikkor 10.5mm has a very short focal length as well, but it's a DX lens and doesn't perform well on my FX camera body.

I should mention that I was using the 10.5mm when I had the Nikon D7000 and Nikon D2x camera bodies. I really loved that lens! But the Sigma is doing a fantastic job paired with my Nikon DF.

One negative: The lens hood keeps falling off! It's lined with felt to create some friction and from what I gather, it's purpose is to keep the cap secure. It works 20% of the time ;\  I ended up lining the inside edge of the lens cap with a bit of gaffer tape to keep it from sliding off.
