Nikon DF DSLR

When our Un Petit Monde photo project started in June of 2010, I was using a Nikon D2x DSLR and a 80-200mm lens with extension tubes. Around 2011 I progressed to the D7000 paired with a 10.5mm fisheye. Although that combo helped me to define my style of shooting, I still didn't have the perfect setup.

When the Nikon Df first hit the market, I was very intrigued. The smallest and lightest body among Nikon FX-format models, it sounded like the perfect camera (for me). So last year I acquired one and paired it with the Sigma 15mm.

If we could, I'd buy another Df so I don't wear this one out too fast! I have nothing negative to say about it... except that the battery life is pretty short. That is especially true when using the live view function the way I do (I manually focus on all of my scenes using live view).

Very simply, a great camera. A little pricey but worth it.
